Reduce single-use plastics. Use glass bottles and reusable media filters.

Do not put liquid, clean, or non-biohazardous plastic in biohazard bin.

Shut door, turn off autoclave after-hours. Or after use if rarely used. 

Shut sash on fume hoods. Shut sash, turn off biosafety cabinets when not in use. 

Turn temperature up on ultralow temp freezers (to -65°C or -70°C).
